Homecoming in Texas is a tradition — and we've been part of it for more than twenty years. At Southern Sparkle Designs, every mum and garter is custom built around the student wearing it: her school, her colors, her style, her story.
Whether this is her first homecoming or her senior year, we'll help you create something she'll keep long after the lights go out.
What Makes a Southern Sparkle Mum
We've spent two decades chasing down the prettiest ribbon, the loudest bling, and the freshest braid techniques so your mum doesn't look like anyone else's. From unique ribbon you won't find at the craft store to show-stopping rhinestones, hand-tied braids, and designs built around your school's colors — every detail is intentional. If you can dream it, we can probably build it.
How a Custom Mum Comes Together
Custom mums aren't an off-the-shelf product, and that's the whole point. Here's how it works:

Book a consultation. Call or text Shawna at 817-987-9151 to find a time that works.

Design together. We'll talk through size, shape, school colors, ribbon, braids, and bling. Bring inspiration photos if you have them.

Pickup before the big night. We build your mum or garter by hand and have it ready for you ahead of homecoming week.
Most consultations take 20–30 minutes. We recommend booking between June and late August for October homecoming, as the calendar fills up fast.
